Piedmontese Beef: Quarters, Halves, & Whole
Piedmontese beef are a rare, double muscled breed of cattle. Originating in Italy, they produce juicy & extremely tender beef. Counter to popular culture, Piedmontese beef boasts lower fat and cholesterol content than chicken AND surpasses Wagyu in tenderness during shearing tests. Pasture raised beef also has higher Omega 3's and has been shown to help lower "bad" fatty acids, cholesterol, and triglycerides. This is truly one-of-a-kind beef offering and we are proud to be building our herd!
Beef is priced at approximate weights for a butchered quarter (135 pounds, $10.35/lb), a half (275 pounds, $10.25/lb), a whole (550 pounds, $10.03/lb), or a half uncut (480 pounds, $4.83/lb). Our beef are also available as uncut half carcasses for those prepared to butcher at home (please contact us before reserving).
